4
Wild Coast Tented Lodge
That rugged landscape and empty beach is the perfect facade to Sri Lanka’s only Relais and Chateaux Resort in the wild. Reams have been written about Wild Coast’s utterly unique architecture, the cocoon suites and wildlife experience reminiscent of vintage safari days; but, something we truly love is that 100% of their water is sourced from sea-water treated through their reverse osmosis plant. Wonderful commitment to resource utilizaton in an area where ground water scarcity is a threat to farmers.

Every once in a while, we stumble upon an exclusive-use luxury villa that nourishes the mind, body and soul. And in Kalukanda House, we have found perfection in every sense. Owned and designed by a British - Sri Lankan designer who has a passion not only for craftsmanship but also to make a positive social impact on her Sri Lankan heritage.
